Bilingual Learning at Nadas
Language is a Journey to Be Lived
At Nadas, we believe that a language is not only learned but also experienced. Just as a tree grows stronger by extending its roots in different directions, children deepen their perspectives as they encounter more than one language.
How Do We Teach?
In our bilingual model, English is not confined to just a corner of the day; it flows into play, music, movement, and mathematics. Children sing, count, explore, and create in both Turkish and English. While this natural exposure nurtures their confidence, dedicated Main Course lessons provide them with the structure of grammar.
Why Is It Important?
For Nadas, bilingual learning is not merely about communication; it is about seeing the world through different perspectives. Each language carries its own worldview. As children grow up with two languages, their empathy, flexibility, and creativity also flourish.
What Makes Us Different?
Integrated Learning: Mathematics, art, music, and physical education are experienced in both languages simultaneously.
Balanced Approach: Alongside natural language acquisition, structured English lessons ensure a strong foundation in grammar and literacy.
Experiential Projects: From daily activities to thematic projects, from field trips to cultural exchanges, English is used in authentic contexts.
Evolving Roadmap: As students move into primary school, English increases to 14 hours per week, and critical thinking, creativity, and international collaboration become natural parts of learning.
Beyond the Classroom
Our students take part in national and international projects, carrying their voices to the world. For them, language is not only a tool but also a bridge—one that connects them to the world while keeping them rooted in their own culture.
